Molly Tracy received her Bachelor of Science from Rider University in Elementary Education and Dance Studies in 2019. Being a student in the dance department at Rider granted Molly the opportunity to extend her ballet training at the Princeton Ballet School. As a dance major, Molly performed in numerous shows that gave her featured roles and opportunities to work with various choreographers. Molly was also a member of Rider Dance Ensemble, allowing her to choreograph and perform in additional shows
throughout college. She also had a leadership role within the Ensemble which allowed her to explore the administrative aspect of the arts. Molly is currently a Second Grade teacher at a local public school. She enjoys having the opportunity to work with children of all ages, in a multitude of ways.
Molly is an alumni of Wendy’s Dance Center where she began dancing at the age of three. For fifteen years she studied various genres and was also a featured tap soloist. While Molly was a competitive dancer she was given a full scholarship to the D.C. Tap Fest in 2013. She worked with many professional tappers including Chloe and Maud Arnold of the world famous company, Syncopated Ladies.
Molly is extremely excited to continue working at Contempro Dance Theatre this season. Every year is a new beginning and she cannot wait to collaborate with new dancers and colleagues. She hopes to extend her love and passion for dance to her fellow students that she has experienced throughout her own dance career.
